Remya is an internationally educated Resident Physiotherapist holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist Assistant diploma from Durham College. With over 14 years of clinical experience, she brings a well-rounded, compassionate approach to client-centered rehabilitation across outpatient, clinical, and community care environments.
Her core passion lies in assessing and treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions through evidence-based exercise protocols, therapeutic modalities, and goal-oriented care plans. Remya is actively involved in community care, where she works alongside multidisciplinary teams to support clients with neurological conditions and complex rehabilitation needs.
Driven by a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, her long-term career goal is to specialize in women’s health physiotherapy. Remya is fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, enabling her to connect deeply with a diverse range of clients. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys staying active, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends
