Faizal Navodia

Registered Physiotherapist / Clinic Owner

Faizal Navodia is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping clients with complex injuries and conditions. Faizal’s passion lies in the field of neuro- and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, which he developed soon after completing his master’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Oakland University. With over 14 years of experience in the field, Faizal has a knack for simplifying things for his patients so that they understand the diagnosis and treatment, helping them take better care of themselves. His hands-on approach, not limited to myofascial release therapy, helps him to utilize many skills to ensure the body is working in “sync.”

His dedication to his clients has motivated him to complete several certifications in the field of neuroscience physiotherapy, including Neuro Development Technique (NDT) and Bobath, Neurokinetic Therapy, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, PONS therapy, and acupuncture. Faizal enjoys sharing his knowledge with the next generation of therapists and has assisted in teaching certification courses along with mentoring students who are near completion of their degrees.

This passion led Faizal to open his own rehab center in Ajax. With a great team of client-centered care, Faizal and his team are sure to help you achieve your goals in your journey to better health! The goal of the team is not to only treat the symptoms you present but to get to the root cause of your pain, which helps achieve long-term goals and alleviates the vicious cycle of chronic pain.

In his spare time, when Faizal is not undergoing a makeover or playing tea party with his two beautiful daughters, you will likely find Faizal running (perhaps from his wife!). This newfound passion (thanks, Covid!) had Faizal recently complete a half marathon and train for his first full marathon, which he hopes to complete by the end of the year.

Kinchit Jain

Registered Physiotherapist

Kinchit Jain is an internationally educated registered physiotherapist, a gold medalist in his Bachelor of Physiotherapy program, and a graduate of the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Durham College.

With over 4 years of clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings, he provides patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-informed care.

His clinical interests include musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation. He integrates individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, soft-tissue techniques, cupping therapy, therapeutic modalities, and patient education to reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve strength and function.

Kinchit believes in treating the person, not just the condition—creating practical, individualized plans that align with each client’s goals and empower them with the knowledge and tools for lasting results and an active, healthy lifestyle.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying active, reading, writing, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.

Zahara Amlani

Registered Physiotherapist

Zahara Amlani is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a strong educational foundation in healthcare. She completed her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and a diploma in hospital management from reputable institutions in India.

With over 12 years of experience in patient care, Zahara possesses exceptional clinical skills in treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, with a special interest in geriatric care. She is committed to delivering evidence-based practice, ensuring her patients receive personalized and effective care.

Outside of the clinic, Zahara enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and traveling. She is also an avid reader, finding joy in immersing herself in a good book. Her passion for life and wellness drives her compassionate approach to patient care.

Remya Anil

Resident Physiotherapist

Remya Anil is an internationally educated resident physiotherapist holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist Assistant diploma from Durham College. With over 14 years of clinical experience, she brings a well-rounded, compassionate approach to client-centered rehabilitation across outpatient, clinical, and community care environments.

Her core passion lies in assessing and treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions through evidence-based exercise protocols, therapeutic modalities, and goal-oriented care plans. Remya is actively involved in community care, where she works alongside multidisciplinary teams to support clients with neurological conditions and complex rehabilitation needs.

Driven by a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, her long-term career goal is to specialize in women’s health physiotherapy. Remya is fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, enabling her to connect deeply with a diverse range of clients. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys staying active, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends

Dr. George Charalambous, B.A. (Hons), D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine

Meet Dr. George Charalambous and be reassured that he “got your back” and will treat you like family. Dr. Charalambous received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto in 2013 and is a certified Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture provider. Prior to CMCC, Dr. Charalambous obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours from York University in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Dr. Charalambous has vast experience with the assessment and treatment of various injuries and impairments. Including but not limited to sports-related injuries, workplace injuries, slip and fall injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and post-operative rehabilitation. He has hands on experience with the common day to day injuries (ie. strains and sprains) to the severe fractures and catastrophic injuries.

Dr. Charalambous practices chiropractic care with diversified techniques and approaches to all treatment goals using evidence-based care. Dr. Charalambous utilizes soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, adjustments, acupuncture, exercise prescription, and pain-controlling modalities to facilitate healing and overall recovery.

Outside of work, Dr. Charalambous appreciates the outdoors, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys playing board games, soccer, and going to the gym.

Daniel Saman

Kinesiologist & Fascial Stretch Therapist

Daniel Saman is a kinesiology graduate with an Honours BKin from Ontario Tech University and a Certified Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist. He brings hands-on clinical experience, having worked in a physiotherapy setting supporting patients through their treatment and recovery, which shaped his hands-on, patient-first approach to care.
Daniel is passionate about making every patient’s experience as comfortable and seamless as possible. He works closely alongside practitioners to keep each treatment session running smoothly, bringing an attentive, detail-oriented approach to everything from patient intake to in-session support so that both patients and practitioners can focus fully on the work of treatment itself. His background in kinesiology gives him a strong grounding in movement, anatomy, and injury patterns, which he draws on to anticipate what a session needs before being asked. Daniel takes pride in being someone practitioners can rely on to keep things organized and on schedule, and someone patients feel comfortable and cared for around, whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth.

Trupti Patil

Physiotherapy Assistant

Trupti is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong physiotherapy background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. Additionally, she has completed a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, expanding her expertise in holistic wellness.

She has further enhanced her expertise through certifications in Kinesio Taping, Cupping, and Myofascial Release, specializing in rehabilitation and pain management.

Outside the clinic, Trupti enjoys exploring new ways to stay active, unwinding through dance, and crafting nutritious meals. Her approach emphasizes balance in both health and life. With Trupti on your care team, you’re in good, fun, motivated, and dedicated hands!

Palak Lunagariya

Physiotherapy Assistant

Palak brings advanced expertise in neurological care to our clinic. She holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience Physiotherapy from India and has extensive experience in neuro-rehabilitation. Palak is currently in the process of securing her physiotherapy license in Canada.

Her clinical focus includes treating stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Guillain-Barré syndrome, spinal cord injuries, and cerebral palsy.

Certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Palak uses advanced exercise and mobility techniques to reduce pain, improve coordination, and restore functional strength.

Alan Diong

Registered Massage Therapist

Alan is a dedicated massage therapist with a passion for helping others achieve optimal health and wellness. With over 12 years of experience in the field, Alan has honed his expertise in various massage techniques and modalities.Graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2011, Alan obtained a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and the art of therapeutic touch. He is proud to be a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

In his practice, Alan utilizes a holistic approach to tailor treatments specifically to each client’s unique needs. He is well-versed in a range of techniques, including Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Massage Techniques, Joint Mobilization, Stretching, Strengthening exercises and Cupping Therapy. Rowena Ocasion

Registered Massage Therapist

Rowena completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto in May 2019. Additionally, she achieved a Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant from Anderson College in Toronto in November 2017.

Throughout her professional journey, Rowena has actively participated in student clinic experiences andplacements to enrich her skills and knowledge. She has been involved in various outreach initiatives, providingmassage therapy services at events like the Peel Halton Regional Event for Sick Kids and the Heatwave for SickKids corporate outdoor beach volleyball outreach.

Rowena’s extensive background and her continuous commitment to learning and growth characterize her as a proficient and empathetic healthcare practitioner devoted to enhancing the wellness of her clients.

Michael Lapalme

Registered Massage Therapist

Michael is a highly skilled Registered Massage Therapist with over a decade of professional clinical experience dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal health and recovery. He holds a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the renowned Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College, equipping him with a strong foundation in both therapeutic techniques and preventative wellness.

Michael’s professional journey spans a variety of clinical settings. Throughout his career, he has collaborated extensively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, managing chronic pain, or improving mobility and function. His expertise encompasses a wide range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and injury rehabilitation.

Passionate about empowering clients, Michael emphasizes posture correction and lifestyle strategies to promote long-term wellness. Beyond the clinic, Michael has worked with athletes at both amateur and professional levels, and he volunteers as a referee at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions, reflecting his dedication to community and sport.

He is registered in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and maintains CPR/AED Level C certification. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being a nerd with his dog Daisy!

Sadhica Latchman

Registered Massage Therapist

Sadhica is a graduate from Centennial College and completed the Massage Therapy Diploma program in 2002. She is licensed and trained in Swedish massage techniques and integrates myofascial trigger point techniques during treatments. She has worked in various clinical settings throughout her career.

She regularly works with clients suffering from sports injuries, work related injuries, and clients involved in motor vehicle accidents. During her many years of experience, she has developed her assessment skills to provide the most appropriate care that is tailored to each or her clients. Working in clinical settings has also given her the opportunity to work with seniors, students, athletes, pregnant women, and people with various disabilities.

As a Massage Therapist, she seeks to facilitate the healing process and improve the quality of life of her clients. Outside of her professional setting, she enjoys spending her free time reading, bike riding, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Melissa Devers

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Melissa is a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is trained in providing Osteopathic health care services that benefits the whole body. Melissa’s practice uses a holistic and preventative approach when providing patient treatment.

Melissa followed her passion for providing rehabilitation and the desire to help facilitate healing for people in chronic pain. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science, and after gaining 4 years of experience working within the clinical rehab field, she decided to dive into the research of Osteopathy. She found a deep understanding and love for the gentle yet effective approach to osteopathic treatment.

Salima Gilani

Patient Experience Coordinator

Salima is one of the first faces you see when you enter Neurosync. Her warm and bubbly personality will always make you feel very comfortable and at home. She is interested in learning about you, your life and any aches and pains you may be experiencing to better assist you with your wellness. Outside from making sure your appointments are scheduled and the clinic is running smoothly, Salima loves to spend time with her family playing and creating boardgames, and chasing after her next adventure. In her spare time, you will find Salima in a zumba class, or at a book store.

With a strong interest in health and human connection, Nailah brings both compassion and curiosity to her role. She holds a degree in Immunology and Disease from the University of Toronto and is passionate about making every patient feel cared for and comfortable from the moment they arrive.

She has experience working directly with patients in both administrative and clinical settings and is also comfortable assisting patients with their appointments as part of their recovery journey. Nailah is passionate about learning and providing the best care possible, whether that means supporting patients from the front desk or lending a hand to the physiotherapy team.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading and spending time in nature. Whether she’s helping coordinate your visit or assisting behind the scenes, Nailah is committed to making your experience smooth, thoughtful, and patient-centered.

Maziar-Ray Dehaney

Patient Experience Coordinator

Maziar-Ray Dehaney is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for every patient at our clinic. She manages scheduling, answers questions, and ensures each visit runs smoothly from start to finish.

Currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Maziar-Ray has a strong passion for health, movement, and rehabilitation. Her goal is to become a physiotherapist, with a special interest in working with children with disabilities and athletes.
